Cost: $250 (individual classes $50, PWYC and work-trade prices available, seats may be limited and priority given to those who have signed up for the series) (A five class package is available for those who will for sure be away for one of the weekends. Please inquire)
Join us on a wild foraging adventure on the land this spring, where we will explore the many gifts our local forests, fields offer. Learn to identify, ethically harvest, and process the spring plants and the odd mushroom into unique and amazing foods and drinks.(with the occasional medicine thrown in)
Each class will feature a welcome circle and gratitude to the land, a short “class”, a walkabout and harvest on the land, and finish with a cooking, eating, drinking session. In addition to the hands-on learning, you will receive tons of learning resources and a regionally specific foraging calendar.
Topics covered will include all manner of green spring plants, roots and tubers, tree barks, easily identifiable mushrooms, sodas, herbal teas, mocktails and cocktails, herbal vinegars, flavoured kombucha, pickles, herbal sourcrouts, and simple country wines and beers.

Pierre Blin
Pierre has been studying nature and wilderness skills for close to 30 years, with a focus on foraging and bushcraft of all types.
