Join us for a year long apprenticeship with Pierre and Isabel, connecting with nature, and learning valuable ancient skills of foraging, herbalism, and other bushcraft.

Pierre will be teaching all about plants, mushrooms, trees, while we wander, forage, and make powerful medicines, delicious foraged meals, and bushcraft.  All  while  Isabel  shares  her  songs, community building skills and other bits of charm and genius.  (Look out for occasional guest teachers as well!)

This program is season-based, with 4 sessions of your choosing, so you can tailor your nature connection journey to suit your lifestyle and what you are looking to gain, or join us for the year long adventure, (for which you can commit to one season at a time.)

Each session is designed to renew our connection to the land, ourselves and each other in a conscious community setting.  We so look forward to sharing this time with you, laughing, learning, sharing food, drink, stories, and a shared love of this wonderful Earth!

The Fall, Winter and Spring Sessions are 3 months long,  and include 1  overnight and  2 day-long classes. The summer session is one 3 Day Nature Immersion canoe trip or retreat where we experience the timeless beauty of summer and deep nature connection and immersion of local waterways and forests. Also included are optional biweekly potluck/classes/foraging adventures on a Wednesday night.

Apprentices will be encouraged to attend the Aug. 2nd canoe trip session. If you prefer not to go on a canoe trip, the July 19th session will take place at a local retreat centre, and will also be family friendly. (Some extra costs may apply).

Participants are welcome to bring their tents and camp on the land, have access to our outdoor kitchen, and our basement suite bathroom and kitchen, or sleep in our Tiny House or basement suite for the Fall or Spring. (we may be able to supply some camping equipment if necessary) The Winter overnight will be in the Gatineau Park Cabin or yurt.

“His classes are so awesome! I’ve learned so much from Pierre. A good teacher teaches the love for learning that will drive you to want to learn more and that’s exactly what Pierre has done for me. I can’t speak highly enough of his classes.”

Pierre has been studying nature and wilderness skills for close to 30 years, with a focus on foraging and bushcraft of all types.
